06' Honda Shadow Spirit Bobber

I'm customizing my Honda Shadow into a bobber. I've put it off for a while now and i finally put my foot down and started. I have a good idea of what I need to do in order to complete the transformation, but I need to know where I can get rigid bars to replace my springs that are on it now. Or if I can just get smaller springs to replace the bigger ones. I've tried to study pics of other peoples customization but I'm still left with questions. Anybody have any advice or answers for a young cowboy?
