My 1978 Kawasaki KZ650 Chopper...

Hey guys! remember me? You might, I'm Darren and I had the little blue and black Rat Bobber in Saskatoon a few years ago that was featured on this site and in a few YouTube videos. Well, its been a few years and the little bobber is all grown up, with a fresh home built frame, all new wiring harness, and piles of other custom bits and pieces, and there's almost nothing left of the little modified stock bike you remember. See for yourself! She has come a long way, and information and advice from everyone on custom choppers guide helped out a lot! Thanks guys, hope you dig the final product!

thanks bud, i recently built a new gas tank for this bike, and its gotten new handlebars and tail lights and a bunch of other random stuff since. ive got a drag bike and a norton which are both in limbo, due to low cash.

I think the finished product is absolutely awesome! I was wondering if you might be able to give me some pointers as to how you made your original a hard tail? I just got a 78 Kz650 and want to bob it..thanks feel free to email me hoggs230@aol.com...thanks and once again thats a bad ass bike.

yeah im pretty happy with her, all except the chain stays and axle plates, i might revise the rear bit of the frame yet but i havent made up my mind. as for the next project, my next project is gonna be a 455 buick-powered t-bucket from hell >:D
