1984 Virago: I'm planning on building a bobber, I have the opportunity to buy an 84 Virgo 750 and was wondering if this would be a good bike to start with?

I just bought a 84 Virago 750, looked just like the one in the pic, bags and all. I was able to completly strip it down to a roller in about 5 hrs. The only hick up is the number of saftey switches, Level sensor, kick stand sensor.....
Now its just a matter of putting it back together. Hooty

these bikes are easy and cheap to make choppers out of,,,,first remove the shocks and add struts,,,to make it ridged (be sure to leave about an inch between your tire and fender) then remove your fuse box and speedometer,,,get some tall risers get the bars you like,,,,move the license plate to the side and get a new tail light,,,and some white wall tires,,,,then cut your seat pan and have it re covered,,,,add a stick shifter and foot clutch if you like,,,,all of this can be done for around under 500.00
