Thanks guys. I'm having a great time with this bike. Bobby, you can find the paint through a PPG dealer. I have the code if you need it. Thanks again, Russ

Nice!

I love that color! I'm glad you told us who produced it. Now if I can just find it. I also like having the headlight housing painted to match the tins. I too did the paint on my bike in my backyard. People are always surprised to find out this kinda thing can be done yourself, and for not so much money too. But, those are usually the guys who've never had a paint gun or a wrench in their hand ever in their lives. It's so much more rewarding to have done the work yourself, aint' it?
I'm in the process of building a Big Bear Chopper right now (it's about 90% mocked up), and restoring a 1986 Suzuki 450L for a nephew of mine.
I hope to see the bobber you build when it's done.
Nice job!

Ain't nuthin wrong with that!

Finally, a person who treats a Harley just like a regular bike. Good to see that you did the paint a la backyard special! Too many HD owners would be horrified if their paint work didn't cost 5 or 6 thousand dollars :)
I ride an old /5 BMW and am building a '76 Kawi KZ750 Twin into my interpretation of a cafe racer. Also got a CM250 Honda twin that will be the next project, a Bobber for my daughter.
Low buck builds rule!
