I Can Build My Own Bike Now!

by Mark Bowen
(Sata Fe, Tx.)

After watching Build Your Own Bike I feel pretty sure of being able to build my own bike from the ground up. The wiring part of it is still a little muddy, but I think I can figure it out. If you are not going to build a "bike in a box" kit, do you have anything on how to go about ordering different parts? Such as, what wheel will go with this front end and what rotor and caliper?

Thanks,
Mark Bowen.

The Good and The Bad Of Aftermarket Harley Parts
by: Michael

The good thing and bad thing about aftermarket Harley parts is that there are literally thousands of options to choose from. Unfortunately there is no set standard on what works with what. You will just need to make sure the key components are compatible. For instance, if you are using an evolution engine, make sure the frame accepts that motor/transmission package. Check your wheel axle sizes for your front end and swing arm.
Hope this helps,
Michael Durham
