Inverted Springer Project

Inverted Springer Forks CAD Drawing

Inverted Springer Forks CAD Drawing

Yep, saw an inverted springer and decided to attempt to build one for my self. I am currently building an 79/80 XS650 yamaha rigid chopper. Didn't want to go the traditional front end nor the traditional springer, so had a look around and deecided that maybe the old 'grasshopper' should make a return.

Using the existing triple trees from the old girl, sourced some 33mm, 4.5mm walled tubing from a metal merchant and cut them to the required length. I am in the process of getting the rocker arms laser cut and the fork tube ends machined and then all bolted together.

I had included a simple CAD drawing of the general idea that I am going for.
