I do show how to determine your spacer length in the dvd/video. The ultimate goal is to have your rear wheel centered in the frame. If someone is using a rear wheel that has the hub centered in the rim with no offset you can determine wheel spacer size be taking the space between the axle mounts in the frame, subtracting the hub width from wheel bearing to wheel bearing and dividing that number by two.
After doing that you will have to compensate for any rear brake spacer and accessories you may have but this information is a lot easier to digest in the video.
After that you can go through belt or chain alignment.
