the one on the front is my current bike building project.

Hi, I've been building bikes for over 27 years now. My first was a Belgium Army bike from 1951, (chopper) my second a Kawa Z650,(Ratbike), my third is my current project, an early shovelhead style hardtail (S&S Engine 103").

These are my own bikes, but over the years I build and rebuild a lot of bikes for other people, while I have been a HD Mechanic for my job. I'll try to post some pictures or start a website with all pictures on, but be patient, I'm not a computer-nerd. Anyway, if any questions, you can post here.
Greetings from Belgium,
Lemmy.

Answer to Albert Nagel
by: Filip

Hi, I unfortenely had to by a lot and most of my stuff, because in Belgium (as in Netherlands I presume) it is hard to get tubes with inch-messures on outside diameters For my own bikes I use a lot of second hand stuff. My alu-wheels for example are from an accidented bike, wheels I did let straithned. I'm still surching for inch-like tubes....My last frame is one I bought, but that I had to cut and change to match my forkrange and 240 Rear wheel... thats why it is a 5-years project I presume.
greetings,
Fil.

What about the material
by: AlbertNagel

Goodmorning Filip,

One question:
During the years of building bikes did you buy most of the material of make it yourself?
I mean the handlebars, forward steps, frame etc.
