Outback South Australia

I am a deputy principal at Port Augusta High School in outback South Australia, Australia. We have a large number of Indigenous boys and disadvantaged other Anglo kids. This project seems so great. In 2012 we will have a new tech studies workshop with an auto workshop. Many of our kids are into dirt bikes, but I'am sure would love to do the type of stuff you are.

I would like to know the in's and out's of how you got started and any programming advice you could give.
Our kids are very disadvantaged on a whole, and you program with local support sound like something we could consider and get hooked into.
