Spring Size and Strength

Hi I am customizing my XT 500 into a chopper and want to put a springer front end onto it however I am having trouble finding information on what spring size and strength I should use I am not going to increase the rake just the length of the fork the bike is striped as of now so pictures are no good but will post when completed from pictures i have gained the concept but need to find out the finer details so that i get a smooth ride first time can anybody help. Make it yourself

Make your springer yourself! It is not difficult, you need Mannesmann tube and a welder and welding knowledge. I make a girder fork for my bobber, the probe and doing ok.
