1990 Virago 750

I bought this 1990 Yamaha Virago out of a junkyard, no tank and nearly bent in half, straightened the frame the old fashioned way with a tree a curb and a ratchet strap. Dropped front and rear, jetted carbs and paint= a lot of donor parts from all walks of bikes. Just had fun doing it and rode it for three years of absolutely no problems.

That chopper is Right!
by: Danger

Most flame jobs are tacky, but you got the colors and design right, that is a seriously good looking bike. Nice fenders and rake too.

by: Ironstroker

Hi Roy,
I dig that bike!!! Excellent job!! I would have a few questions for ya, I have a couple of viragos that I want to chop but need a few ideas.
I would like to know what you did to the suspension to lower it, what carb kits you put in, pipes, fork etc etc....
If you could drop me line please it would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much

Great Job!
by: Bobby C.

That's a good looking ride, Roy! I like the fact that you "resurrected" it from the dead and used parts from various other bikes to build it. Kind of a Franken-bike, huh? It looks great!
