Southern motorcycle Works Aussie Godfather kit chopper build. I bought the kit in early 2011 and have been slowly building the bike in my shed. I am now up to the wiring of the bike and hope to finish this in the next few weeks.

Godfather
by: Andrew

I am hearing this alot, Myself and another local guy bought the same kit and I agree the customer service is shit. I was missing a few parts and took a few phone calls to get them organised but all came through in the end. Much easier to buy in Australia and now that the dollar is average probably the same cost.

godfather chopper kit problems
by: ringo

I have just finished building my godfather pro street, they are a nice looking bike ,but due to the problems I had with the kit there is no way I would attempt another project from s.m.w the problems I experienced were wrong parts, missing parts from the kit wich took time to get sent, wrong size engine was sent,i requested a 127 cu I was sent a 107cu it was only when I was sent the engine certificate 1 year later that I found this out, by then it is to late to change it.customer service was so bad that it was very difficult to get a reply to my emails and phone calls.my next build will be definitely items bought in Australia.
